Professor of Hematology
A.P. Dr. Mustafa Çentiner was born in 1964 in Kayseri. He graduated from Ankara University School of Medicine in 1988. He complete speciaties in Internal Medicine at Karadeniz Technical Univerity School of Medicine in 1994 and Hematology at Marmara University School of Medicine in 2000. He worked as a guest lecturer at Chicago's Northwestern University, Robert Lurie Cancer Cencer in Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplant Unit in 2004. Dr. Çentiner which received the title of Associate Professor in 2006 at Marmara University School of Medicine in the Hematology Department, is a much of various international and national associations such as Turkish Medical Association, Turkish Society of Hematology, American Society of Hematology, European Hematology Association, European Bone Marrow Transplantation Registry, Turkish Society of Internal Medicine, and Association of Univesity Teaching Members. He has available approximately 50 various national and international articles publishes in magazines, close to 80 papers shared in international and domestic conventions, and 3 books written on the subject of Hematologic Malignancies. "Are We Birds or Chickens?", "For Your Health", "Portraits in the History of Lymphoma" and "Kilometers of Milestones in the History of Hematology" are the titles of the popular science books he has written. For 10 years he has been writing regular side articles under the name "Contemporary Medicine" in the Science and Technology attachment for the Cumhuriyet Newspaper. He has published articles titled "Stethoscope" in the Farmaskop Magazine and "Being a Human" in Herkese Sağlık Magazine. Dr. Çetiner whom finds Medical education, medical ethics and medical history within his interests, has over 200 published articles in popular science magazines.
