Önder Ergönül M.D.

Professor of Infectious Diseases

Prof. Dr. Önder Ergönül was born in 1965 in Gaziantep. He graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 1989. In 1995 he completed his residency in Infectious Diseases and Clinical Microbiology at Ankara University, Faculty of Medicine. In 2003, he received his Master of Public Health degree from Harvard School of Public Health. Between 2000-2002 he worked at University of Utah, School of Medicine, Infectious Diseases Department. Between 2003-2006 he worked as a specialist and associate Professor in Ankara Numune Training and Research Hospital, between 2006-2011 at Marmara University, School of Medicine, Infectious Diseases and Clinical Microbiology Department. In 2010, he became Professor of Infectious Diseases and Clinical Microbiology. Since 2011, he has been working at the VKV Healthcare Institutions, in the Department of Infectious Diseases.
